No. Functions Function EA-01. Analyze Green Building Energy Efficiency
Actor Data Scientist, Project Manager, Environmental Analyst
Description Allows the analysis of energy consumption data against established green building metrics and sustainability indicators to assess energy efficiency and impact on ecological balance.
Starting Event New quarter's energy consumption data is uploaded to the analytics platform.
Preconditions Validated data set (consumption, building specs, weather data), Sustainability Indicator Baseline established and approved.
Postconditions The system generates a Performance Dashboard highlighting deviations from the baseline and potential areas for energy savings and ecological improvement.
Main stream:
  1. The system loads and integrates energy consumption data from various sources.
  2. The actor selects the desired timeframe and a primary sustainability indicator (e.g., EUI, Carbon Footprint).
  3. The system runs the Energy Balance Model (EBM) analysis algorithm.
  4. The system visualizes key green metrics (e.g., PUE, WUE) in the Performance Dashboard.
  5. The actor reviews the generated analysis and prepares a summary report on energy efficiency.
  6. The system saves the finalized analysis report to the project archive.
Alternative streams:

Data Validation Failure at steps 1 and 3 of the main flow.

  1. The system flags data anomalies and prompts the actor to review or re-upload the corrected data set before continuing.
